Difficult questions have no easy answers. Swedish-born inventor and industrialist Alfred Nobel realised this as far back as 1895, when he decided to reward those who “have conferred the greatest benefit to mankind” in physics, chemistry, physiology or medicine, literature and peace efforts. But what are the difficult questions, and what questions are the right ones? Are there stupid questions, and do the right questions always lead to the right answers?

 Come join us as four leading researchers from different scientific fields discuss the importance of asking the right questions again and again.

The discussion will be led by Torsten Wiesel, 1981 Nobel Laureate in Physiology or Medicine.

 The panel also includes Rod MacKinnon, 2003 Nobel Laureate in Chemistry; Ole Petter Ottersen, Professor of Medicine and new Vice-Chancellor of Karolinska Institutet; and Sara Strandberg, Associate Professor of Particle Physics at Stockholm University and Member of the Young Academy of Sweden.
