Public Engagement/Society Planning
Digitalisation and automated transport systems can create value for societies and we need to understand how new mobility solutions can help us reach societal goals. During this meeting we will both discuss how new mobility solutions can enable society planning processes as well as how such enabling processes can be conducted in ways that involve and engage people who use these technologies in their everyday lives.
After a brief introduction of Drive Sweden's previous work and refined goals for the themes Society Planning and Public Engagement, we will continue with round table discussions to investigate new ideas for how to develop Drive Sweden’s agenda from societal and human-centered perspectives.
The themes have slightly different goals, but we share an ambition in finding new routes to engage mobility stakeholders - including everyday users - to collaborate on how society should integrate new sustainable mobility solutions. Let's find out together how this can be realised in practice!
You will get the opportunity to:
- Present your interests and previous work in smaller groups
- Co-create new project ideas
- Network with other stakeholders with similar interests
- Feed in your ideas to coming calls for strategic and open calls for Drive Sweden projects
You will also get presentations from, for example:
- Anna Fridén – principal secretary for KOMET, the committee for technological innovation and ethics
- Charlotte Lejon – head of commercialisation and enterpreneurship at the Swedish Energy Agency
Looking forward to meet you all, and a special thanks to those of you who bring friends along who haven't yet gotten in contact with Drive Sweden, but who would be interested in joining under the flag of "Society Planning" and "Public Engagement"!
