About the film

Grab Them is a controversial short film about a hysterical deep-faked reality where a man's insane journey through the world has become a woman's heaviest yoke to bear.

The film is written and directed by Morgane Dziurla-Petit and tells the story of sixty-year-old Sally who longs for love and happiness. In recent times, her search has been complicated by the fact that she resembles an American President.

Grab Them is produced by the Gothenburg based production company GötaFilm and premiered at Göteborg Film Festival 2020 and is now popular on SVT Play.

To produce the film and to make Sally look just like the president, the filmmakers have worked with so-called deep fake-technology and used the AI infrastructure at AI Sweden to train the algorithms.
