Tackling the bad habits of un-sustainable consumption
Welcome to a lunch seminar with Marlyne Sahakian who will present her work on how to tackle the bad habits of un-sustainable consumption.
What does it imply to situate consumption in everyday life? Drawing from research on the consumption of energy, food and public spaces, Marlyne's talk will focus on how a social practice approach to understanding consumption can lead to deeper insights into normalization processes and transformative change. She concludes with a discussion around the notion of « sustainable wellbeing » and future research directions.
