Screening for Children

Expanding experiences through film

Screening for Children is an European-wide conference for everybody working with children and film. The conference focus on how to screen and discuss film for and with children in order to engage children in film. This conference will focus on what could be called cinema literacy and how to engage children in film and its history.

Who attends
Education professionals at venues and cinemas, film festivals, educational projects, school cinema professionals, distributors and producers.

At Filmhuset in Stockholm, Sweden.

Program features both swedish and international speakers and all will be in english.

During the day you will be able to take part of lectures and discussions of different character.

Classic stop motion animation that influenced Wes Anderson. Free of charge for those who has booked it. An arrangement together with the Swedish Film Institute Cinematheque.
