Welcome to a RECOVER CPR Instructor Certification Course!

The speakers are Daniel Fletcher, DVM, PhD, Dipl ACVECC and Kenichiro Yagi, MS, RVT, VTS (ECC, SAIM). For lecturer CV see subpage "Meet the speakers".   

The course is aimed for veterinarians and technicians familiar with the RECOVER guidelines and with an interest to train others in CPR.
Course language is English.

This is a two-day course with practical workshops, giving the participants the opportunity to become not only certified RECOVER Rescuers but also certified RECOVER Instructors.

Completion of online courses on RECOVER Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS) is a prerequisite for participation in the workshop and certification as a RECOVER Certified Rescuer and Instructor. The courses can be found at and will be offered at a 30% discount to participants of the workshop.

A discount code to the online courses will be forwarded to you by email after you have registrated to this Instructor certification course.

After the course the course participant will:

  • Be a RECOVER Certified BLS/ALS Instructor, authorized to certify RECOVER BLS/ALS Rescuers
  • Have a thorough foundation in immersive simulation education using OpenVetSim, an open-source software/hardware platform for veterinary medical simulation

This workshop focuses on practical training, based on the online courses on RECOVER Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS). There will not be additional lecture notes provided, so please arrive prepared.

The course fee, EUR 1600 excl VAT, is including lectures, practical trainings, coffees, lunches and a course dinner. For general conditions and practial information see attachement "General conditions".

The course venue, Friibergh Herrgård, Örsundsbro, Sweden, is located on the countryside 45 minutes by car/taxi from Stockholm Arlanda airport. If you are arriving by train, shuttle pick up from the train station in Bålsta can be arranged (no cost for over night guests).
