Welcome to a course in Internal Medicine with a focus on Laboratory Diagnostics!

For the 5th year running we are happy to be offering this very appreciated course, this year extended by one day! It is aimed at veterinarians and biomedical analysts who want to learn more about the systematic diagnostic approach to the most common patients within internal medicine.
Accredited for the Swedish specialist in diseases of dogs and cats programme.
Other specialisations can be applied for upon request.
The course is given in English. Max 30 participants.
LEARNING OBJECTIVESAfter the course the participants will:
- Have an understanding of commonly used laboratory diagnostic tools
- Have deeper knowledge about pathophysiology in major disease processes in small animal practice
- Be able to make correct interpretations from deviations of laboratory parameters in the internal medicine patient
- Have a structured and effective approach to the diagnostic work up in different internal medicine cases, including the bleeding patient, hematology, acid base disorders, endocrine patients, kidney disease, gastrointestinal disease and liver disease
- Have knowledge about common laboratory work including the most common analytical and preanalytical errors and how to avoid these

The course fee is EUR 1000 (excl. VAT) for AniCurians and EUR 1200 (excl. VAT) for Non-AniCurians. For teams from the same clinic a special discount of 15% is given to the participants, register using the campaign code Team. The course fee includes three days of lectures, lecture notes, three lunches, a light dinner the first evening and a course dinner the second evening.

TRAVEL AND HOTEL
Costs for travel and accommodation are not included in the course fee. To sign up to the event start by selecting quantity in the booking option below. Secondly fill in your personal details, email address and answer the questions. Thirdly pay by card and fill in requested information. To finalise your booking press the button "Book" at the end. Confirm your registration by pressing the button "Confirm" in the pop-up window. Within a few minutes you will receive a booking confirmation to your email, follow the link in the email to complete your booking. When you have done that you will receive another email with a receipt for the event. Once you have received the receipt for the event, you are registered.
